The most notable aspect about Firle Village as you wind your way up the narrow street, is most likely to be how unspoilt and unaffected the area is compared with modern day pace. You could almost say 'like stepping back in time'.

Firle Church, resides at the South end of the Village, where, in the Gage
Chapel, are its most notable treasures, three altar
tombs designed as a set and installed about 1595.
